Data Engineering Lead

A global fintech is looking for a Data Engineering Lead to partner with stakeholders across finance, marketing, product and more, being the main POC for all things data.

What you'll do, and what we're looking for:

  • Build and lead a team of 2-3 data team members, whilst continuing to be a hands-on contributer

  • Improve data stack with implementation of databricks, snowflake and more

  • 7-10 years experience working with python, SQL, snowflake, databricks, AWS (S3, Glue, Airflow)

  • Experience building data engineering function from ground up is highly desirable

  • Experience in the fintech space is highly desirable

Interview process:

  • 1 hour call with hiring manager

  • Short technical assignment (2 hours)

  • Final call with hiring manager

Location: Dubai - remote first, 1-2 days in the office would be ideal

Salary: 37,000 - 45,000 AED P/M
